Terms & Conditions

These terms govern enrolment in the Chadura Academy Program at our Musiri campus. Please read them before you pay any fee.

Last updated: [01/Jul/2026] · Effective: [01/Jul/2027]
Section 1

Acceptance of terms

By submitting an application, paying the programme fee, or enrolling in the Chadura Academy Program ("the Programme"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not enroll. We encourage you to visit the campus, ask questions, and take the free entry assessment before making any payment.

If you are under 18 years of age: Required verifiable parental/guardian consent process, which the DPDP Rules require for processing the data of a person under 18.

Section 2

Definitions

  • "Chadura" means "Chadura Tech Private Limited"
  • "Programme" means the six-month training programme delivered at the Musiri campus.
  • "Student" means a person enrolled in the Programme.
  • "LMS" means Chadura's learning management system and associated online content.
  • "Cohort" means a batch of students commencing the Programme on a given start date.
Section 3

Eligibility & admission

Admission is at Chadura's discretion and may be based on an entry assessment, an interview, or both. Submitting an application does not guarantee admission.

Students are expected to be able to attend the Musiri campus in person on programme days. No prior programming experience is required.

Chadura reserves the right to decline or withdraw an admission offer where information provided is found to be false or materially incomplete.

Section 4

Programme structure

The Programme runs for approximately 26 weeks and includes daily in-person practice sessions (approximately 3–4 hours), self-paced online lessons through the LMS, a weekly corporate communication class, and a weekly masterclass.

Chadura may reasonably vary the curriculum, schedule, trainers, technologies taught, or delivery method where necessary — for example to reflect changes in industry practice or for operational reasons — provided the overall scope and duration of the Programme are substantially maintained.

Programme dates, holidays, and session timings will be communicated to students in advance.

Section 5

Fees & payment

The Programme fee is ₹30,000 (Rupees Thirty Thousand only), payable in full before the Programme start date, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

The fee covers tuition, in-person practice sessions, LMS access for the duration of the Programme, assessments, and certification where earned. Fee does not cover transport, food, personal laptop.

There is no fee to apply or to take the entry assessment.

A receipt will be issued for every payment. Fees are exclusive of any applicable taxes, which will be charged as required by law.

Section 6 · Most important clause

Refunds & cancellation

This is the single most disputed clause in any training programme. It must be decided by Chadura and reviewed by a lawyer before publication. An unclear or unfair refund policy is both a consumer-protection risk and the most common cause of disputes.

[DECIDE] — You must define, at minimum:

  • Cooling-off period: is there a window (e.g. 7 days from the start date) in which a student may withdraw for a full or near-full refund?
  • Withdrawal after commencement: what is refundable at 2 weeks, 1 month, 3 months? A sliding scale tied to time elapsed and content unlocked is more defensible than a flat "no refunds".
  • Non-refundable component: is a portion (e.g. an administration or seat-reservation amount) retained? State the amount explicitly.
  • Cancellation by Chadura: if Chadura cancels or fails to commence a cohort, students should receive a full refund. This should be stated unambiguously.
  • Refund timeline: how many days from request to payment, and to which account.
  • Termination for misconduct: what, if anything, is refundable.

Note on LMS content: because Programme content is phase-gated and released progressively, a refund scale linked to content unlocked is both fairer to students and more defensible for Chadura than a blanket no-refund rule. A blanket "no refunds under any circumstances" clause may be challenged as an unfair contract term under Indian consumer protection law.

Section 7

Attendance & conduct

The Programme depends on regular in-person attendance. The minimum attendance percentage required to remain enrolled and to be eligible for certification.

Students are expected to conduct themselves respectfully towards trainers, mentors, staff, and fellow students, and to comply with campus rules and safety instructions.

The following will be treated as serious misconduct: harassment or discrimination of any kind; damage to campus property or equipment; cheating or attempting to circumvent proctoring during assessments; sharing LMS credentials or content with third parties; and any unlawful activity on campus or using Chadura systems.

Section 8

Assessment & certification

Student performance is assessed across the Programme on a total of 1,200 marks, comprising continuous assessment (module exams and project rubrics) and a final comprehensive proctored examination.

Assessments are conducted under proctored conditions. Students consent to the proctoring measures in use, which may include identity verification and monitoring of examination sessions. Details will be provided before each assessment.

Certification is earned, not guaranteed by enrolment or attendance. A student who achieves a total of 900 marks or above out of 1,200, and who has satisfied the requirements in both the backend and frontend components and the corporate communication requirement, will be awarded the Chadura Certified Full-Stack Developer certificate.

A student who does not meet the full-stack threshold but demonstrates strong performance in a single domain may be awarded a Backend or Frontend specialist certificate instead, at Chadura's assessment.

Chadura's decision on assessment results and certification is final, subject to the grievance process in Section 15. Results found to have been obtained through cheating or impersonation may be cancelled.

Section 9

Internship & employment

Chadura does not guarantee employment to any student. Nothing in these terms, in any marketing material, or in any oral statement constitutes an offer of employment or a promise of a job.

At the conclusion of each cohort, the top eight (8) performers, determined by Chadura on the basis of assessment results and demonstrated commitment, will be offered a paid internship on Chadura projects. Internship terms, duration, and stipend will be set out in a separate internship agreement.

All eight interns will be considered for a full-time role with Chadura on the basis of their performance and commitment during the internship. Consideration does not amount to an offer, and Chadura is under no obligation to extend an offer to any or all of them.

Students who do not receive an internship or employment offer remain entitled to their certificate (where earned) and to any career support described in the Programme materials.

Section 10

LMS access & intellectual property

All Programme content — including lessons, videos, exercises, assessments, documentation, and the LMS itself — is the intellectual property of Chadura and is protected by law.

Students are granted a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to access and use the content solely for their own learning during the Programme

Students must not record, download, copy, republish, resell, or share Programme content or LMS credentials with any third party. Doing so is a serious breach of these terms and may result in termination without refund, in addition to any legal remedies available to Chadura.

Content is released progressively (phase-gated) as the cohort advances through the Programme.

Section 11

Student projects

Students retain ownership of the projects they build during the Programme, including the capstone project, and are free to publish them in their portfolios and show them to prospective employers. This is a meaningful benefit of the Programme and supports the goal of making students employable.

Students grant Chadura a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and reference their project work for educational, promotional, and marketing purposes, with attribution.

Where a student contributes to Chadura's own client or product work during an internship, ownership of that work is governed by the separate internship agreement and will ordinarily vest in Chadura.

Section 12

Data protection & privacy

Chadura acts as a data fiduciary in respect of student personal data under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 and the DPDP Rules notified in November 2025.

We collect and process personal data — including name, contact details, town of residence, educational background, attendance, assessment results, and proctoring data — for the purposes of admission, delivering the Programme, assessment and certification, and communicating with you about the Programme.

Consent is sought separately for distinct purposes. Consent to receive marketing communications is separate from, and not a condition of, enrolment. You may withdraw consent for marketing at any time.

You have the right to access your personal data, to seek correction of inaccurate data, to seek erasure where applicable, to nominate another person to exercise your rights, and to raise a grievance. Requests may be made to the Grievance Officer named in Section 15.

Personal data is retained only as long as necessary for the purposes above and to meet legal obligations.

We apply reasonable security safeguards to protect personal data and will report personal data breaches to the Data Protection Board of India and to affected individuals as required by law.

A separate Privacy Policy sets out our data practices in full and forms part of these terms.

Section 13

Suspension & termination

Chadura may suspend or terminate a student's enrolment for serious misconduct as described in Section 7, for sustained failure to meet attendance requirements, for non-payment of fees, or for breach of Section 10.

Before terminating enrolment, Chadura will ordinarily give the student written notice of the concern and a reasonable opportunity to respond, except where the misconduct is severe.

Refund entitlement on termination is governed by Section 6.

A student may withdraw from the Programme at any time by giving written notice; refund entitlement is governed by Section 6.

Section 14

Limitation of liability

Chadura provides training services and makes no warranty as to any particular career outcome, salary, or employment result.

Students are responsible for their own personal property brought onto the campus.

Chadura is not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond its reasonable control.

Section 15

Grievance redressal

If you have a concern about the Programme, your assessment, or how your personal data is handled, you may contact our Grievance Officer:

Grievance Officer
Name: Kumaran Narayanaswamy
Email: kumaran@chadura.com
Phone: +91 77956 80999
Address: Chadura, Musiri campus.

Publishing Grievance Officer contact details is a specific requirement under the DPDP Rules. We will acknowledge grievances and respond within a reasonable period.

If your data protection grievance is not resolved, you may escalate to the Data Protection Board of India.

Section 16

Changes & governing law

Chadura may update these terms from time to time. Material changes affecting enrolled students will be communicated directly, and the "last updated" date above will be revised.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. [DECIDE — jurisdiction, e.g. courts at Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu]

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.

These terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any signed enrolment or internship agreement, form the entire agreement between the student and Chadura in relation to the Programme.
